Calling Xbox Support but I’m a Hacker. A few years ago, I called Xbox Support pretending to be an Xbox Hacker or modder. I had this phone call saved on my old computer but never uploaded it so here it is, a few years too late. The purpose of this phone call was to see how an Xbox employee would react to an Xbox Hacker calling them. It was also a bit of a social experiment to see what an Xbox employee would say/do in the event of a hacker calling with general questions about reports and cheating in the game. I later revealed to the Xbox employee that I’m not an Xbox Hacker but some random dude who was bored, running a social experiment.

The Xbox employee’s name was Angelica and she was absolutely helpful and friendly. She told me her stance on hacking the game up and said it was rather unfair to the other players. She also ended up thinking I worked for the Xbox Enforcement Team. Since this was unexpected, I played along and told her I worked at Xbox Enforcement. Later on, I told her I don’t work for Xbox Enforcement, and that I was only kidding. She was one of the nicest Xbox employees I ever talked to, besides the ones from 2012 that hooked me up with Xbox gold memberships which was really nice of them. I’m not sure if Xbox Support employees give out codes for GamePass on random occasions. If they do, high fives to Xbox for helping out the player base!

I never intended to post this as I didn’t think it was worthy of being put on the internet. Looking back, I figured to share it with everyone and show how awesome Xbox Support can be. Depending on the Xbox employee at least… In this case, the Xbox employee was very helpful and patient with me. I did ask her if she ever wanted to play with me to find cheaters on Xbox. She doesn’t play a lot of Xbox so she said maybe. It doesn’t matter anymore because the gamertag I gave her was banned like 2-3 years ago. It’s possible she hit me up and never knew I was banned but who knows. I was very impressed with her professionalism and once again, high fives to Xbox Support for that one!
