Morning improv with Elektron Machinedrum, Analog Rytm, Moog Subharmonicon and Korg Nu:Tekt NTS-1

Some sunny Sunday morning ambient improv. This time with my Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1 MKII, Elektron Analog Rytm MKII, Moog Subharmonicon and Korg Nu:Tekt NTS-1.

In addition to adding some metallic percussion embellishments, the Machinedrum is sending midi clock to the Rytm and I’ve used an GND-IM machine to send trigger pulses on a separate output to the Subharmonicon. All sounds from the Rytm are from its internal synth engines (ie, no samples used).

Audio is routed from the Subharmonicon to the NTS-1 (adding stereo delay and the really spectacular Hammondeggsmusic Cathedral Reverb), and then via the Machinedrum to the AR. The final mix is sent to my Zoom U-24 and recorded in AUM on my iPad with no additional processing.
