Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common disorder in childhood. This talk from Iris Perez, MD, addresses the pathophysiology of pediatric OSA, the conditions that predispose children to OSA in this age group, the current interpretation of polysomnography in infants and children, and existing and recent treatment options for this patient population.
