This is part 2 of taking pictures of strangers. This time I use my a6300 and a sigma 30mm 1.4. It’s my first time using a 50mm perspective to take portraits, so it took a lot of adapting. It was shot in Miami beach near ocean drive. It was shot on a Saturday and this is the first part of the shoot, the second part will be released tomorrow. This camera had a way better time focusing on the person’s eyes. So, it let me compose a bit better, on the other hand I think a lot of the portraits might have been too close just because I am more used to filming and shooting with a 35mm. Taking photographs of passersby on the street was a lot of fun and I’m definitely going to do it again. A lot of the photographs I took were sent to the people being photographed through Instagram with good faith. These people I don’t know and should be respected since they agreed to take the portrait and are nice people. For every 2 yes, I got, I got a no. These people were not included to not show their face in the video. This is a good way to build a portfolio if you do not have one.
