A walk up Helvellyn with Anthony and Jess on a stunning Good Friday. Starting from the village of Glenridding by Ullswater. We headed up to the summit of Birkhouse Moor before tackling the incredible Striding Edge. We even met hill walking royalty in Alan Hinkes OBE on the summit, who then joined us for the descent of Swirral Edge. We then summited Catstye Cam before a descent back to Glenridding for a cold bottle of Wainwright and a flapjack. One of my favourite ever hill days.
