In this video, we’ll be talking about how you’ll benefit from Hive as your primary CRM. Our goal as an ESP is to have all your data in one place, to give you full transparency into your customers. Switching CRMs seems a bit daunting and overwhelming at first, but we’ve created our platform to make sure you’re as hands-off as possible.

Easily connect your old ESPs to Hive in your account or upload exported historic CSV data on the Import Contacts page. Hive will collect and merge any duplicate customer data, so that you’ll have an in-depth and accurate representation of your data. The last thing we want is for you to lose data when switching CRMs. Hive has the flexible data models needed to store all the data you find useful - such as past engagement, demographics, location, onsite behaviour, and purchase history. With all your data in one place, you’ll have a full overview on your customers and be able to leverage that data to send smarter emails.

All your customer data (including revenue generated from both subscribed and unsubscribed users) will be found on the contact page. This data is constantly being updated so that you can confidently filter the contact list and create detailed customer segments, like your top spenders in New York who are 18 to 34-year-old females who’ve abandoned a cart. With specific customer segments, you can confidently send more targeted emails to subscribers who are the likeliest to engage.

If you’re ever curious about specific details gathered from each customer, you can click on their name in the contact list to bring you to their subscriber profile. Here you can see which segments they’re apart of, social networks connected, as well as all online actions they’ve made with your emails. If you’re an ecommerce business that has Hives SDK running on your website, you’ll also be able to view browsing history here!

With each email campaign, Hive brings revenue to the forefront so that you can see exactly how much revenue your campaign has generated. Diving deeper into email campaign reporting, Hive breaks down exactly who received, opened, and clicked your email. As well as how much money each user has historically spent.
