Legend of Dragoon - GHOST SHIP 2; treasure chest 5x!!! 4 REPEAT NUMBERS!!! Bogy; Commander

Freeing the ghost of the Captain from Magician Bogy, our party is called to his cabin. The Captain explains that none of the royal guards or crew could finish dying because they failed in their duty to protect Princess Louvia of Mille Seseau. The Black Monster struck and killed them all. A portrait of a woman is also seen. Dart finds something familiar about her...

Outside, ghostly knights appear and attack Rose. Thanks to the Captain having left them the key to the nanny's room, they enter and are again surrounded by ghost knights who believe the party is there to harm the Princess. A boss fight with the Knight Commander and his troops ensues.

Afterward, Shana attempts to tell the ghost knights there is no more danger and the Black Monster is gone. But the knights seem to think she is Princess Louvia and disappear. The bassinet then rocks and the ghost of the nanny appears. She also recognizes Shana as the Princess and claims she, the knights, and crew have been on the ship for 18 years after death. Now that Shana/Louvia is alright, they have confirmation they fulfilled their duty to protect her, and can pass on.

With the curse on the decayed ship broken, it instantly begins to sink. The party jump back aboard the Queen Fury, which is now ready to move, but Dart doesn't make it. Rose cries that she "won't let it happen again" and falls off the bow with him.

We then see Rose with an unconscious Dart in a small cave, having washed up on a beach earlier. Rose has a vivid flashback that serves as a major revelation: 11,000 years ago, she was a Dragoon, fighting alongside a different party in the Dragon Campaign. We see Shirley, along with several companion Dragoons who lost their lives to Virage and a powerful enemy named Melbu Frahma.

Zieg, who was the Dragoon of the Red-Eye Dragon, like Dart, was obviously very important to Rose. She stayed close to him throughout the pitched battle but he ended up turned to stone, as Rose lost her grasp on him.

Back in reality, Rose sees a lot of similarity between Dart and Zieg. Unfortunately, Dart is not Zieg, and it's been so many millennia she is now made of bitterness.

Suddenly, a dog and a little boy stumble upon them in the cave, and they are taken back to the rustic, seaside village of Lidiera, where the boy, Pete, has a sick mother. There is a doctor and spring in the neighboring city of Fueno, but they can't reach it since a monster now lives in the caves along the way.

Needing to head to Fueno anyway since it has a major port and the Queen Fury would surely have docked by now, Dart and Rose agree to guide Pete and his mother through the caves.
