A car reaching a million miles is amazing -- but so is Joe, the owner of this remarkable 1990 Honda Accord.

As Joe reached 1,000,000 on the odometer, Honda surprised him with a parade in his honor.

How did Joe do it? By following the owner's manual and maintenance schedule as recommended. He maintained proper fuel levels, kept his gas tank full, and used only Honda air, oil and fuel filters. Joe never rode heavy on the brakes, and changed the fluid every few years. He's also replaced the fuel pump, both cooling fans and the radiator twice.

But most importantly, Joe really loves his Honda.
