"Only strong together - for democracy and diversity" - the motto of the Christopher Street Day demonstration through Berlin on the 27th of July 2024.

Hundreds of thousands marched on Berlin streets with 75 trucks and around 100 walking groups.

The Berlin Pride Parade, known also as Christopher Street Day (CSD), is one of the most vibrant and significant LGBTQ+ events in Europe. It is a powerful celebration of love, diversity, and equality, honoring the legacy of the Stonewall Riots of 1969 in New York, which sparked the global LGBTQ+ rights movement. Since the first Berlin CSD in 1979, the event has grown into a massive display of solidarity, featuring colorful floats, music, and thousands of participants from all walks of life, marching together to advocate for human rights, acceptance, and equal opportunities for all.

The Pride Parade in Berlin serves as a reminder of the struggles the LGBTQ+ community continues to face, while also celebrating the progress made over the years. It stands as a beacon of hope and progress.
