The movie “Lotus” is a surreal fantasy that follows silent film director Alice von Trotta as she navigates the complexities of her artistic journey in the film industry.

Signe Birkova is a Latvian filmmaker known for her contributions to short, experimental, and documentary films. She gained recognition for her award-winning short film ”Upon Return I’ll Be a Flaming Rose” and has also directed notable works such as “The Ring of Fire”.
