Nova Drift - New PB! - Hidden Power on full display!

New PB by a mile with a new-to-me build! I usually lean into the red trees or the yellow trees, but today I was trying a no-weapon build and leaned into the purple trees. I tried a few times, exploring various mods and their interactions, and then I got this run. Oh, what a satisfying run!

My focus was on big shield go burn, but Dying Star proved to be an amazing addition when my shield was down and I still scorched everything around me. I was hesitant to take Apotheosis because of the 1/5 reduction in shields and hull, but I figured things were going to be bouncing me around later on otherwise, so this let me focus on dodging only the bullets and shrapnel. Discord was also useful, and you can sometimes see me spinning around to swing them at stuff (still working on that technique - if a Discord strike/kill looked cool, it was probably an accident... lol).

I considered Tempest Break at one point, but didn't like the idea of my shield not coming back to full strength until it was gone (especially with Dying Star burning). I also considered Sanctuary, but the action was so fast and furious that I didn't think the shield would keep up with me.

I hope you enjoy watching me slowly get better at this amazing fusion of Asteroids and Geometry Wars that grew up to be a Rogue lite!
