In this episode we'll show you how to install a wall mounted fan.

Let's begin by unboxing this wall fan that I got from our local appliance store.
Inside the box are the front and rear blade guards, the motor and control housing, manual and certificates, the wall bracket, and the Fan blades.
I'm not a big fan of the silver metal fan blades, so I will spray paint them black to give the fan a unifed color look. I am using this Quick Drying, Acrylic Lacquer, Flat Black paint to do this job.

So here is a fan that I installed earlier, in this video we'll be installing the other one on the other side of this cabana.
Let's prepare the wall brackets. This unit is simply comprised of one bracket plate and 2 screws.

Next we simply measure where we want to put the bracket plate and mark the place accordingly.

We then drill the holes for the two screws that will fix the bracket plate on to the wall.

Plastic tox are then placed inside the holes so that the screws will have something to latch on to.

The bracket is then easily attached to the wall using the 2 screws.

Now let's assemble the fan. We begin by first removing the pre installed screw locks. The rear blade guard is then placed on the motor housing and then secured in place by the rear blade guard lock.

The Fan blade is then attached to the motor shaft and then secured into place by a locking screw located at the back of the fan blade. The fan blade lock is then screwed back into place.

The Front blade guard in then secured together with the rear blade guard using the 4 locking mechanisms located at the outer edges on both the guard grills.

At the back of the fan motor casing - there is an opening where the wall bracket will fit in to. To hang the wall fan, all you have to do is hook the wall bracket into that opening, and the fan will be secured to the wall.

After that, all you have to do is plug the fan and let it operate freely.
