Comilla Victorians, the newest team of Bangladesh Premier League, has officially expressed interest in getting Wasim Akram and Sourav Ganguly as Coach/Mentor for the team. The team is also in talks with Kevin Pietersen, Mahela Jayawardena. On 21 September 2015, The team officials have confirmed Wasim Akram as team mentor. Kieran Pollard was also finalised for Comilla Victorians.
According to Bangladesh Cricket Board, PCB has set some conditions for Pakistani players to participate in BPL. Shahid Afridi, Ahmed Shehzad, and Shoaib Malik have expressed interest in participating in the 3rd edition of the tournament.
Rangpur Riders is in discussion with Robin Singh for the position of Head Coach of the team.
Chittagong Vikings confirmed they will sign Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch as well.
Sylhet Super Stars team officials have shown interest in Sarwar Imran as the team's head coach. Imran was Bangladesh's first test coach and known as the most successful coach in history of Bangladesh Cricket.
Former Bangladesh Cricket Team fielding coach Mohammad Salahuddin is the front runner for the position of Comilla Victorians' head coach.
By October 10, 2015, Total 236 Foreign Players showed interest in taking part in the league. Six Icon players were also finalised; Mashrafe Mortaza will lead Comilla Victorians, while Shakib Al Hasan with Dhaka Dynamites, Tamim Iqbal with Chittagong Vikings, Mahmudullah Riyad with Barisal Bulls, Nasir Hossain with Rangpur Riders and Mushfiqur Rahim with Sylhet Superstars.
Among 236 Foreign Players Taking part in the auction, Pakistan tops the list with 52 players, closely followed by 48 English players, 33 players from West Indies, 28 from Sri Lanka, Five from Zimbabwe, Four from Australia and South Africa, Two from New Zealand and Thirteen players from Assosiate Nations.
Chittagong Vikings confirmed Mohammad Amir, Umar Akmal,Elton Chigumburaand Tillakaratne Dilshan in their squad for 2015 season. Team officials are in talks with Misbah-ul-Haq.
Comilla Victorians confirmsd Shoaib Malik and Sunil Narine.
Dhaka Dynamites confirmed Kumar Sangakkara, Ravi Bopara and Mohammad Irfan in the squad.
Rangpur Riders confirmed Darren Sammy & Thisara Perera while Sylhet Superstars confirmed Shahid Afridi.
Barisal Bulls confirmed Chris Gayle &Brendan Taylor in their squad. They also confirmed Graham Ford as their head coach.
