He is also known as Victor Goh, together with three other
famous singers namely 秦淮,黄清元,凌霄, they were
anointed as Four Heavenly Kings of Singapore Mandopop
(Mandarin popular music) owing to their throngs of ardent
fans.

In the 1970s, he became popular with songs such as 天边一
颗星 (A Star in the Sky) and 水长流 (Long flowing Water) and
recorded more than 60 albums, which were sold in
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan
and Mainland China. He is recognized as an evergreen
recording artist in Singapore.

He often appeared on TV, and has recorded theme songs for
Singapore TV series such as “热血青春”( The Darkest Hour) ,
“大侠吴三奇” ( Man in the past ) etc. He is also the original
singer of the theme songs of Singapore’s famous TV series
“雾锁南洋” (The Awakening), “不要问我” (Don’t Ask Me) and “难忘一段情” (Unforgettable Love) sung in “大侠吴三奇” (Man in the past) are masterpieces of the famous

He studied at the Commercial Design Faculty of Middlesex
University, London, UK. After graduation, he returned to
Singapore and formed a London Design House and served as
the Chief Designer for many years. When he was a student,
he represented the school and won numerous awards in
various art competitions. His artworks have won the Gold
Medal Award at the International Student Art Exhibition in
Tokyo, Japan, and he was selected to represent Singapore in
the Australia Exhibition.

In conjunction with the 100th birthday commemoration of
deceased Lee Kuan Yew - Father of Singapore, he specially
painted a large oil painting as a commemoration. Out of his love for singing, he is often invited to participate in large-scale charity concerts in his spare time, or serve as a judge of singing competitions.

Recently, he personally wrote and published a memoir “天边
一颗星”( A Star in the Sky ), sharing his personal life journey
and experience, recording the history of the Singapore/Malaysia music industry, which won the love and support of fans and readers.
