The rain was pouring down, and I noticed she had taken cover under the same overhang as me. The scene was so dramatic, and she was so perfect for it, that I knew I'd have to ask for an impromptu portrait.

It wasn’t planned, just one of those moments where the weather made everything feel raw and unfiltered. And when I asked the right question, she cracked into an incredible candid smile.

Sometimes the best portraits are the ones you never see coming.
