Ritherdon participated with its Atlas Retention Socket along with more crash-friendly street furniture being demonstrated on the day organised by Passive Safety UK.

In the video you’ll not only see the live crash demonstrations, but also the installation and removal of the Atlas Retention Socket after being crashed into. The live demos were part of the National Passive Safety Crash Demonstration Day that took place on the 6th of July 2022. Many thanks to event sponsor Mason Street Furniture who oversaw installation and civils works on the day.

The Atlas Retention Socket, manufactured out of stainless steel, is designed to remain in the ground undamaged following a knockdown of the pole. The ease and speed of replacement that the Atlas provides drastically reduces maintenance and keeps traffic flowing.
