Nihilism, dialogos, and the serious play of religion w/ Daniel Zaruba - Voices with Vervaeke

Daniel and I participate in dialogos about dialogos and overcoming nihilism, while focusing on the work of the philosopher Nishitani and the serious play of religion.

Daniel is teaching an 8-week masterclass on Nishitani Keiji’s seminal text “Religion & Nothingness” through Johannes Niederhauser’s Halkyon Academy.

In the course you will learn how Nishitani attempted to overcome nihilism and the meaning crisis of our age through the Buddhist notion of emptiness.
You will also learn how the religio-philosophical traditions of East and West can be brought into mutual dialogue with each other.
Learn also about meditation and how to integrate it in both your daily life and your studies.

Group seminars will begin August 21st. You will get lifetime access to all course materials, as well as access to the Halkyon forum, where you can get in touch with your peers from the course and join the reading groups within the Halkyon forum.
