How It Works

🌞 During the day
Your solar panels power the VSD load, while the battery stores any excess energy.

🌙 Evenings (around 6 p.m.)
When solar production drops, the battery automatically takes over — giving you a few extra hours to run equipment like pivots.

🌅 Early mornings (5 a.m.–8 a.m.)
Before sunlight returns, the battery keeps your pivots running.
Once the sun is up, the battery recharges using available solar energy.

Important Setup Requirement

Your solar array’s Voc must be 15–40% higher than the battery’s charge voltage.
This ensures consistent and efficient charging throughout the day.
