Well it turns out the Osmo Action is only good for certain types of night shots - i'd say that hyperlapses are OK, photos are OK but regular videos/vlogging are definitely not good enough. With an aperture of f2.8 and a sensor size of 1/2.3", the Osmo Action lacks the quality you need for a night shoot. So I definitely wouldn't recommend you to film with it during the night, but if you have one do try taking some long exposure photos with it (remember to shoot in RAW), the results are pretty good!
