On the way to Melbourne from Sydney Australia, I got to take an over night train where I made a new friend Alex who was there to attend the Formula One Race Festivities. So on my first evening in Melbourne, I decided to check it out as well along the Riverside walkway next to the Crown Melbourne Hotel and Casino. And as luck would have it, inside the casino is a buffet; in fact, it's one that rival those of Las Vegas (in terms of Casinos as well as buffets) and I believe this it Melbourne's Most Luxurious Buffet. And at $150 per guest, it ought to be. And even at the high price point, it was fully booked and I was glad to get a last minute cancellation.

What do you get for at $150 Vegas-Style buffet! Well, pretty much everything! Once again, the seafood in Australia is simply top notch. Lucious and plump oysters - fresh, sweet, and briny. Prawns and scallops everywhere...on their own or hidden in salads. And if you fancy, for a little extra, the crowd favorite, Lobster Mornay!

And then there are the countless stations serving up high quality dishes from Chinese and Indian to Italian and French. The roasts from the carvery is one of the main attractions. Tender succulent beef to shatteringly crispy porchetta and roasted pork as there for you endless enjoyment! And what feast would be complete without a stunning dessert station and the biggest tip I can give you is to save room!
