COLD Days and FOGGY Night: Carlisle Train Variety.
90s, 88s, 70s, 68s, 67, 66!
28 29 November 22

Filmed over an afternoon and the following day.

The highlight on the first afternoon was a former Colas Class 67, now owned by GBRf, at the front of the regular Hams Hall to Mossend internodal train. Presumably being ferried for use on the caledonian Sleeper trains in Scotland. A former DRS Class 66 was the regular loco behind the 67. The 66 was working alone the following evening.

On the following morning GBRf were running the infrequent train of MOD materiel from Carlisle yard to Kineton.

Clss 88s were again at the head of the weekly flask train from Hunterston in Ayrshire to BNFL at Sellafield.

Both days were cold with a fog setting in before dusk on the second day leading to interesting and atmospheric shots.
