Wireless charging is the transmission of energy in the form of electromagnetic wave from the power supply end (hereinafter referred to as TX) to the receiving end (hereinafter referred to as RX), that is, electricity is transmitted from TX to RX without passing through the conductor. The electromagnetic wave energy reacts differently to the medium according to the characteristics of operating frequency. The operating frequency of commercially available wireless charging products is less than 10MHz, while the main operating frequency of high-power wireless charging systems is about 100KHz. In this frequency band, electromagnetic energy penetrates most of the non-metallic material, but produces violent heating reactions to the metallic material, leading to disaster. Detection of harmful metals between TX and RX is a necessary technology for wireless charging.
