Bihar के सारण जिले में पैदा हुए Shashank Kumar ने जोश Talks Bihar के इस मंच से अपनी Entrepreneurial Journey को साझा किया है. Lower Middle क्लास परिवार में पले बढ़े Shashank ने सिमुलतला से अपनी प्रारंभिक पढ़ाई की. उसके बाद आगे की शिक्षा के लिए IIT Delhi गये. 2008 में IIT Delhi से Pass out होने के बाद Management Graduate के पद पर एक निजी कंपनी में नौकरी की.

Shashank अपने अंदर के Entrepreneur की खोज में जुटे रहे. साल 2011 में नौकरी छोड़ कर DeHaat की शुरुआत की.Enterpreneurship Journey में कई दिक्कतें भी आयीं. बैंक ने कई बार Loan देने से मना कर दिया. Shashank ने खुद के पैसे की FD कर, बैंक से जैसे तैसे लोन लिया. एक साल बाद यानि साल 2013 में पहला Dehaat Centre खोला गया. Investor से Funding लेने के लिए भी Dehaat के Founder को कई बार मुसीबतों का सामना करना पड़ा.

जोश Talks Bihar के मंच से Shashank Kumar ने बताया कि उन्हें 86 बार Investor ने Funding देने ने इनकार कर दिया. Shashank ने इन सारी बाधाओं में अपना धैर्य नहीं खोया. आज इनकी कंपनी DeHaat देश के 14 करोड़ किसानों के समस्याओं के आसान बनाने की दिशा में काम कर रही है. Bihar के Patna के एक छोटे से कमरे में शुरू हुए DeHaat ने अबतक 11 राज्यों में 10 हजार से अधिक DeHaat Center खोलकर 13 लाख किसानों को अपने साथ जोड़ा है. जोश Talks Bihar में DeHaat के Founder, Shashank कुमार अपनी Motivational Story में Success और Failure के किस्से बता रहे हैं.
