I recorded John Haitts song "Have a little faith in me" in Stenkvista church in Eskilstuna the other day!✨

Check out my website: ✨www.karinkardia.com✨

It is the first song where I finally took the courage to play on the piano to post on my Youtube channel😮 I really enjoy playing the piano and has done so since I was a child. Not fancy and properly as in `piano lessons´ etc (I always have to do it my own way I guess🙈😜). We had a piano when I was growing up and I remember I often came home after school and wrote melodies. It was untuned but some notes where ok and when you´re 11 years old it worked out fine😄 I have really started to enjoy the piano in my older days and have been written a couple of songs on it. Someday I might record them as well. It´s a very different feeling to the piano than the guitar, both in sound and feeling.
And I seldom play on the acoustic piano as in this video. It was a challenge but I really enjoyed playing it in church like this.✨

The staff of the church was so kind and let me do as I wished. So, in a way they "had a little faith in me" 🙏😉🎯❤️ And also it was incredible how Eric Huijsers helped me out - filming and carrying stuff and how he showed such patience with me all day with all my crazy ideas!😅😍 I really enjoyed how he made the filming more interesting in the way he walked around while I was playing etc. Thanks a lot!!👏✨🎯🙏❤️

The song
In this song I think John Haitt was really referring to how he wishes or pleads to a woman that she should just believe in him and trust him, that he will be there for her. To help her in need and all her difficult times "when the road gets dark" and "you can no longer see" but himself needs this important "requirement" to be trusted, to not lose hope in the relationship I guess. I always felt that this message is even more beautiful when a man sings it but I guess I twisted it a little bit in the way I used the church in this way. So instead of singing it to a man, I sang to some "higher" power and pleaded "it" to have a little faith in me" and don´t give up on me while I´m improving myself. In that way I really enjoyed how the place helped the songs´ overall message and feeling.

And I especially love the phrase "give these loving arms a try". It is so beautifully and creatively put. Magical✨😇 Enjoy!❤️
