A four-member team of the BJP visited violence-hit Asansol in West Bengal defying prohibitory orders, to take stock of the situation in the area. The members blamed the Trinamool Congress government in the state for having "failed" to control the situation in the Asansol-Raniganj belt of West Burdwan district.
