By now, at least to my subscribers, it should be no secret that I enjoy covering Eric Burdon songs. I had pretty much covered my personal favorites by him, either on this channel or with my band when I was performing live on stage for nearly 10 years.

But one of my young subscribers, who is a HUGE Eric Burdon fan, asked if I would cover this one, so I am happy to oblige. Written by Sam Cooke and make a huge hit by him with his backing vocalist, Lou Rawls. Then The Animals covered this one in 1965, which this tribute draws inspiration from.
