Trip Report: NYC Views and a Rare Newark Landing! | United 757-200 | Chicago - Newark | ORD - EWR

Hello and welcome back to another Trip Report! Today's is an exciting one on what would've been an otherwise uneventful flight. As the second leg of many on my latest European excursion, I flew in economy on United's 757-200. While the seat is nice and does it's job on a two-hour flight, the real excitement came in the final 5000 feet of our descent into Newark. I was hoping to land from the north to catch a view of Manhattan and instead got something much better: a rare Stadium Visual approach to land on Newark's runway 29. This took us even closer to the city and provided great views along the way. Hopefully you enjoy them just as much as I did on what might be a top 5 all-time flight for me.
