**REAL MIRACLES BY THE SIKH GURU’S?**…NOT HOCUS-POCUS MAGIC! | Revolutionary SYSTEMS, mini-model SIKH STATES hundreds of years ago, DASVANDH system replicated into TAX system – concepts by the Sikh Guru’s are being used in the West | ਕੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ | 30.12.16, Yuba City USA Diwaan | Dhadrianwale

One perception of ‘Karamat’, or miracles, is that which is typically envisioned in the Hindu mythology. However, it does not necessarily mean Sikhs view miracles from the same angle as they or others do.

The Sikh Guru’s were not esteemed due to performing those types of miracles that are said to have occurred in old mythologies, the Sikh Guru’s were esteemed for much more than such hocus-pocus magic.

What is the real miracle? For example, is it a miracle for Guru Arjan Dev Ji to sit on the ‘Tatti Tavi’ (hot plate) and for that Tatti Tavi to become cool, or is the miracle that Guru Arjan Dev Ji sits on the hot Tatti Tavi but they themselves remain cool and totally unaffected by the sizzling heat of the Tatti Tavi?

Being boiled alive in hot water but remaining cool and calm from within – that inner tranquillity is the miracle.

It’s having the courage with an unwavering determination to get up and fight ‘Sava Lakh’ (or 125,000) singlehandedly – that spirit is the miracle.

Our Guru performs such incredible miracles within us. Hocus-pocus magic is for magicians, not for Sikhs of the Guru. The power to perform real miracles is contained within Guru Granth Sahib Ji, an ocean containing the knowledge of truth.

In the western world, a system of equality in all aspects of life has been put into practise, whether it is equal rights for genders, equal opportunities in education, no discrimination based on caste, helping the less fortunate through charity, access to free medicine and medical treatment etc. Guru Nanak Dev Ji had already given us this concept five hundred years ago. In fact, Guru Nanak Dev Ji had even practically implemented this model in the small town of Kartarpur, as an example of what the world could be like. One must remember this was during a time when there was a dictatorship rule, as opposed to a democracy. It was in those difficult conditions Guru Nanak Dev Ji set-up a model town, with the systems that the western world is renowned for today, five hundred years later and in a democratic society.

It was not just Kartarpur. For example, Guru Angad Dev Ji then made the concept developed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji into a model at Khadur Sahib. Guru Amar Das Ji did the same at Goindwal Sahib. Then Guru Ram Das Ji made an example at Amritsar. Guru Arjan Dev Ji implemented this model at Tarn Taran Sahib. In the same way, Guru Gobind Singh Ji exemplified the model at Anandpur. The difference is we just talk and discuss a theory; the Sikh Guru’s put their revolutionary ideas into practise as examples of what could be achieved.

Today, houses in a typical village of Punjab are segregated with different areas for different “castes”. In contrast, go to a town in the western world and no one in a housing estate will ask about caste. There will not be a separate part of the estate or town for one caste or race and a different part for another. Similarly, in the model mini-Khalistan’s the Guru’s had created hundreds of years ago, when the western world was not even dreaming about these concepts, there was equality for all. No person living in the model towns even brought up the word “caste”.

For these systems to successfully be implemented during those times, in India, under dictatorship rule – was that not a miracle by our Guru’s?

In a way, the ‘Dasvand’ system was similar to the current tax system in the west. Earn a living and then take out Dasvand (or 10%) from ones earnings to go into a common or community pot. If a Gurdwara is constructed through community donations, he who has put towards 100 Rupees will have the same rights to sit under its roof as he who has donated 10,000 Rupees from his earnings. Perhaps, it seems, the west may have even replicated the Dasvandh system and adapted it into their tax system?

It’s simple. Had the revolutionary systems of the Sikh Guru’s been implemented in India, then the people would not have been migrating to the west but instead the west would have been coming to settle there – in the country based on the system of the Sikh Guru’s. That is the miracle, that is something to think about…
