The Smeg water kettle is amazing, it's just great. Definitely recommend getting one.

As a dad though, one thing to consider: If you need a cup of boiled water in the night while the kids sleep, the fun tunes are not necessarily so fun anymore that this thing sings... But I'm sure those can be turned off somehow, but all in all this is a great product!
