1. Middle School Spirit Week: Must donate $1 each day to your 1st period class in order to dress up. ALL proceeds go to the Olive Garden's "Pasta for Pennies" drive that benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Monday - Tie Dye Day
Tuesday - Team Shirt Day
Wednesday - Crazy Sock Day
Thursday - "PURPLE OUT" Day

Each MIDDLE SCHOOL student may participate for $1 every day

Entire school collecting donations. Homeroom with highest collection wins an Olive Garden lunch

ONLY middle schoolers can dress up for $1 this week. HS students have their dress up week during Homecoming.

2. Community Service Opportunity:

Ms. Rosen has volunteer hours opportunity in North Lakeland at Chasin' Dreams Arena. If you like to be outside around horses, this may be of interest to you.

Dates: Saturday, November 11th, Saturday November 18th, Sunday November 19th, Saturday December 16th.

3. Yearbook sales info -- www.yearbookordercenter.com Job #2283 $65 for the book, must order by December 1 to guarantee you have a copy.

5. Veteran's Day Door Decorating Contest: Classes, clubs and sports can decorate a teacher's/coach's/sponsor's doors or window walls.

7. Player Profile: Hunter Borah, Boys Cross Country

8. Items needed for Art: If you have any felt, fabric or sewing accessories ART classes need them! Bring them in to Mrs. Christie

9. Are you a 10th grader planning to attend Wildcat Rules? If so, your $100 deposit and field trip permission slip is due by November 1st. Failure to pay the deposit and turn in the form by November 1 will result in you NOT being able to attend the field trip.

10. Birthday Shoutouts -- McKeel.O will begin selling Birthday shoutouts. For only $1 you can put a "birthday Shoutout" to your friends on McKeel.O. You will need to email Mrs. Torres the video of you saying "Happy Birthday to _______" you want. The video snippet can only be 4-5 seconds long. You must turn in the $1 and email Mrs. Torres the request form and video snippet before it will be aired. Keep in mind you must submit the birthday shout out at least TWO days before you want it to air.

11. McKeel.O wants your views and subscriptions to our Youtube Channel. Beginning next Friday, November 3 we will do a live drawing. How do you get your name in the drawing? All you have to do is subscribe to the McKeel.O Youtube channel. We will pick TWO subscribers and they will receive a $5 gift card to a local restaurant. For more ways to be entered into the drawing and chances to win, check out the email Mrs. Torres sent out about the Drawings.

12. Movies on the Lawn for Middle Schoolers -- Friday, November 3 @ 6:30. JUMANJI. $2 for students and $3 for adults. Snacks will be available as well.

13. Wreathes Across America -- 11/1 to 12/15. The Monday group will interview Mrs. Weitz and a member of NHS who participated last year on Tuesday/Wednesday and give the segment to the Wednesday group to use. The interviews will be used multiple times.

14. Fishing Tournament from 11/3 to 11/4 .
