A New York State "common" police field sobriety test is the walk and turn. Many people feel that they passed this test easily but it's harder than you think based upon their criteria.

DWI arrest is usually based upon the officer giving you tests at roadside. His observations of your behavior, and your performance on his tests will support his decision to arrest.
