This demonstration shows that bank angle alone doesn't increase stall speed. It's the load factor, typically associated with a level turn in a steep bank, that drives the increase in stall speed. In this video I show how the airplane reacts when you roll into a bank of about 45 degrees. Note that the decrease in vertical component of lift causes the airplane, as expected, to enter a descending turn that evolves into a spiral. As soon as you roll the wings level, the nose rises on its own as the vertical component of lift is restored. The airplane won't stall until you increase AoA by pulling on the yoke or stick, and as you increase back pressure and AoA, you also increase load factor. That's what drives the stall, in this case an accelerated stall. See other videos in the playlist for examples of accelerated stalls.
