People of Color Representation Reviews are our simple, elegant way to cut to the core of just how we are being portrayed by popular culture here in the 21st century.

In these trailer reviews we try to answer just 3 little insanely important questions:
How many POC are in this trailer?
How many POC are allowed to speak in this trailer?
And
How do our speaking roles portray us?

The answers to these questions reveal just where we are being positioned in today’s popular culture.

In this episode, we dive into what looks like a possible following-through of the promise Marvel Studios made to us fans to be more inclusive and diverse with its oncoming phase 4.
Even though Spiderman Far From Home is officially the last film in Marvel’s mega-successful Phase 3, it looks like Marvel may actually be taking its first steps to fulfilling this heady promise.
What that promise will look like in coming films remains to be seen, but we here at PopCOO are delighted to be able to rate this trailer with the highest grade yet for a POC Representation review.

Now if only they could throw a little help toward King Busco’s children, we’d be looking great!!
