FORTIN 33 vs EarthQuaker Devices Plumes SHOOTOUT | How Does a $233 Pedal Compare to a $99 Pedal

Alright, here it is! The Fortin 33 versus Mode 2 of the EarthQuaker Devices Plumes.

For those that don't know Mode 2 of the Plumes is a clean boost (as is the 33). I thought it would be fun to see if I could get the Plumes to sound close to the 33 so you can decide for yourself which you like best or if they are almost the same.

The Plumes has three distinct clipping modes, making it a versatile pedal for $99USD, compared to the Fortin 33 which is a pre-tuned single knob Boost that is more than double at $233.

This video is NOT to say you should or should not buy one of these pedals, but just to demonstrate if you want a boost and the price of the Fortin is a bit above budget, you may get some similar tones out of the Plumes.
