Religions Organisations Sociology (New Age Movements)

New Age Movements are one of the types of religious organisation that Sociology students need to be able to explain when discussing why some religious organisations are in decline whilst others are growing.

Some sociologists argue this type of religious organisation is replacing traditional religions in Europe and America.

A Level sociology students revising for the Beliefs in Society paper (AQA Paper 2) should be able to define New Age Movements and explain why they have grown in recent years.
