Potentiometer Construction and Working principle - Linear and Audio taper Potentiometers

In this video, I will explain how to use a potentiometer in a simple circuit to control the speed of a motor and the brightness of LEDs. We will also see the construction and the working principle of the both linear and audio taper potentiometers.

In this potentiometer tutorial video, I have explained all the basic of the potentiometer. It mainly uses to control resistance, voltage and frequency of a circuit. Though the speed control of the motor is very easy using a potentiometer but the process is inefficient. The proper wattage of the potentiometer should be used for higher wattage load, otherwise, the POT will burn.
