I Shall Not Die (Part 1) - Dr Glacia Robinson

Описание к видео I Shall Not Die (Part 1) - Dr Glacia Robinson

Dr Glacia’s powerful testimony glorifies God and His mighty works in her life, for she was revived from the brink of death, restored, blessed and preserved. She was sick for five and a half years, her body weight plummeted to less than ninety pounds (90 lbs), passing through many hospital doors, surviving countless tests, wheelchair, feeding tubes, pampers and strong medications. But even though doctors gave up on her, holding on to the word of God, she declared Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord!” The prayers of the saints from all over the world went up to the Lord as a memorial on her behalf, and the powerful name of Jesus broke the curse of death and the spirit of witchcraft which was assigned to take her life prematurely. With the strong support of her husband Emerson, her precious mother Norah, her sister Alicia, her family and close friends, Glacia is here today as a walking miracle, and a testament to the fact that God has a purpose for her life. She lives each day to fulfill that purpose. Her ministry extends into international missions, inspirational and motivational speaking. She continues to encourage millions around the world.

Dr. Glacia started singing in church at 4 years old. Raised with humble beginnings, in the rustic hills of Newport Manchester Jamaica, she has graciously evolved into becoming a multi-award winning singer, songwriter, composer, producer, an anointed minister of music, praise and worship leader, model, missionary, and author. She spends her life in service to God and to others. Often with guitar in hand, Glacia’s travels have taken her around the world. Countries like, New Zealand, Australia, Belize, Cuba, China, Antigua, Barbuda, Canada, Barbados, Israel, The British Virgin Islands, Honduras, The Cayman Islands, Sweden and many more.

A humanitarian at heart, Glacia is happy to partner with their main charity, Food For The Poor through the years. She enjoys singing in orphanages, hospitals, senior citizens homes, prisons, on the streets, as well as stadiums, arenas, churches, and concert halls globally. She delightfully embraces every opportunity to share her musical talent. She is particularly passionate about giving back. Embracing those who have been rejected and dejected by society and their situations. Working behind the scenes, she also enjoys mentoring young and upcoming artists. This involves writing and composing songs for them, producing their material, facilitating opportunities for them to share their music and message; while helping them to identify, and give voice to, their unique sound, as well as their unique purpose and destiny.

Dr. Glacia is a Caribbean Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee. She is a recipient of The Gospel Icon Award, and The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, from President Biden, and Vice President Harris. In December 2020, she was awarded a honorary Doctor of Divinity degree and a Humanitarian Social Service Award, for her life’s work, by the Heart Christian University. Thanks to Dr. Dornett McIntosh and Glacia’s destiny helpers for making this possible.

In April 2022, Glacia was the first gospel recording artist to collaborate with the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra for “I Rise” live concert. In April 2023, she was invited to collaborate with this prestigious orchestra once again. All the proceeds from this event were donated to fund scholarships for children studying orchestral music. In April 2022, Glacia was endowed with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, the “Gospel Icon Award” from the Government of Jamaica, and the JaRIA Music Federation (The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association).

With 6 award winning albums, many singles and collaborations released to date, functioning as a recording engineer on her albums as well, Glacia has extended her creative and cultural footprint, by singing and recording in Spanish, Korean, Sotho, Creole, Portuguese and Surinamese. With many hit songs through the years, her distinctive music is well beloved and has become apart of the musical landscape in many regions around the world.

In May 2022, Glacia was invited by the Prime Minister of Jamaica and the Minister of Culture to sing as their special guest for the Jamaica 60th Call To Worship Church Launch in Brooklyn. On August 6, they invited her again for the Jamaica 60th Independence Grand Gala. Glacia has also been the special musical guest for the Consul General of New York; she continues to live in service.

Dr. Glacia and her husband Emerson recently produced, recorded, and dedicated their 8th album “Hands of Mercy” to their charity Food For The Poor. Through this collaboration with Food For The Poor, the proceeds from “Hands of Mercy”, will be donated to support those who are struggling with poverty around the world.
