COLOURALONG | God Jul – Hanna Karlzon | Silent Night | Adult Colouring

Hi guys!

Following the poll I put up on the community tab, this beautiful page in Hanna Karlzon’s newest book, God Jul, won! And I was supper excited to colour it as I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like. I really enjoyed colouring this page, and I am looking forward to colouring my next one now.

I have used one Distress ink, Derwent Inktense for the background and then Tombow dual brush pens and Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils (dry – so you can follow along with your Polychromos or other pencils using a conversion chart). Embellishments were minimal: Flysea glitter acrylic marker (by Lightwish) and Posca white pen.

Specific materials used:
Posca Paint Pen: White
Distress ink (moon): Weathered wood
Derwent Inktense pencils (background sky): 110, 2120, 0840, 0835, 1213, 2300

Tombow dual brush pens and Faber Castell (FC) pencils used for each element:

-Snow:
Light cobalt turquoise

Sky blue
Ivory
CG I
White

-Frame:
Tombow – 090
Brown ochre
Nougat
Van dyck brown
Caput mortuum violet
Cream
White

-Berries:
Dark red
Madder
Rose carmine
Walnut brown
Dark sepia

-Trees:
Tombow – 192
Pine green
WG VI
Earth green
Black

-Building:
WG II
WG IV
Raw umber
WG VI
