The Heat Resilience and Performance Centre (HRPC) was launched at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine on Wednesday, 11 January 2023, by Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen.

The HRPC is a dedicated, one-stop research entity that brings together subject matter experts from NUS Medicine, the Singapore Armed Forces and DSO National Laboratories and other partner institutions, to drive and conduct heat resilience and performance research to mitigate the challenges posed to address the near and long-term challenges of maintaining human performance amidst rising ambient temperatures, regionally and globally.
