On May 24, 2016, a single supercell thunderstorm spawned numerous tornadoes across Clark and Ford Counties in southwest Kansas--among them, an EF-3 tornado that occurred just north of Dodge City. This video was shot mainly from the corner of 110 Rd. and 14th Ave. Rd., looking north, with one tornado ongoing from the start of the video, while another forms shortly thereafter. This second tornado was rated EF-3, and heavily damaged property at the Ford County Landfill, including a large propane tank that landed in the middle of 110 Rd.
