UNBELIEVABLE: I Stay at Real-Life Humble Hobbit Home in Kundasang Sabah

Waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu from my cozy hobbit-inspired room at the Humble Hobbit Home Kundasang was like stepping into a dream. I had always wanted to experience this magical retreat, and it did not disappoint. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the unique charm of the Humble Hobbit Home Kundasang—every detail made me feel like I had stepped into a fairytale.

I chose to stay in the Humble Hobbit room, and the best part? The incredible view of Mount Kinabalu right outside my window. I stayed at 2 different room type in 2 nights, Sweetheart Hobbit & Honeymoon Hobbit, the room was not only adorable but felt like a home away from home. It was fully equipped with a kitchen, so I could cook my own meals. There's something incredibly comforting about preparing breakfast in such a peaceful setting. I enjoyed my coffee while gazing at the majestic Mount Kinabalu, watching the mist slowly lift off the mountainside.

This Kundasang Homestay location is perfect—just a short five-minute drive from Kundasang town. I made sure to visit some nearby attractions. Desa Dairy Farm was an absolute highlight with its stunning views and fresh dairy products. I also hiked up Sosodikon Hill, which gave me even more amazing panoramic views of the valley and Mount Kinabalu. The Kinabalu National Park was another must-visit, a UNESCO World Heritage site teeming with beautiful flora and fauna.

But honestly, I could’ve spent all day just relaxing in the Humble Hobbit Home Kundasang. The vibe is so peaceful, and there’s something special about these uniquely designed rooms. I spent the evening in the Hobbit room, watching the colors of the sky change as the sun dipped behind the mountain, and it was truly magical. Whether you're with family, friends, or a special someone, this place has a charm that makes every moment feel intimate and memorable.

The Humble Hobbit Home Kundasang was more than just like a hotel stay—it was an unforgettable experience. It gave me the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and a touch of fantasy.
