Zombie Navigation:
I made a building navigation that supports rectangle and Circle rooms and it uses the pathways that are set up by hand with some code to complete the connections and generate the pathways by shortest distance. the code is used by multiple copies of the same building and is multithread able. I can add rotation to buildings easily.
Zombie Ragdoll Physics:
I made the zombies physics interact with ragdolls and I made the ragdolls sleep for optimization.
zombies now collide with cars even when far away.
New Truck:
I added a truck that I downloaded from the unity asset store for free.
I got my Car Damage Model generator pretty much automated for use as an asset for the Asset Store.
Better Drifting and Aerodynamics:
I finally got the drifting working properly and I made a driver assist that helps to prevent understeer.
I made a Aerodynamics test that Raycasts rotated points around the vehicle to get the position and normal data. The function just car based on its speed of the vehicle when the normal of points is pointing towards the speed it changes the position of the force from center mass. The force has no wind flow calculation to block or manipulate wind force movement and it might be too strong so the vehicles kind of glide sometimes.
I fixed the performance of full resolution raytraced reflections using performance global illumination.
I made a roads generation system that tries to generate smooth roads though it is slow. I made a second material where the roads replace the rock texture with a custom shader.
Environment Asset:
Nature Manufacture Meadow Environment
I bought the environment assets from the Unity Asset store for the Trees, Grass and Ground. I had to add some stuff to the shader to make it work with my infinite world system and I had to add a camera offset to the shader.
I made a few modified variants of the Nature Manufacture wind shaders to get the wind to work on my generated meshes that combine all of the grass and trees. Normally the shaders only allow for wind on one tree or grass mesh at a time so I made a shader that uses the Vertex Color to feed the object center position data to the combined meshes.
