Memorial Tribute to Mal Vincent - December 11, 2021

Mal was a theatre arts and film/TV critic, veteran newspaper journalist, radio personality, but most importantly - master storyteller. His movie reviews spanned 50 years! Here's a brief look back at Mal's life through his words. Many thanks to Bill Woodward and The Virginian-Pilot for their interviews with Mal a few years ago. A treasure and icon, Mal passed away November 28, 2021 at the age of 83.

This piece was edited for the family and friends of Mal at their request with permission. It was shown at his public memorial at the NARO Theater in Norfolk, Virginia. Many thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed.
