Discover the history of the lost Welsh Dairies of London!

The importance and numerical number of Welsh dairies in London at the beginning of the 20th century can not be understated, especially if you lived in and around the Euston Road, from Paddington to Clerkenwell they were literally on every street corner.

As the railway started to become more popular for transferring goods quickly, Welsh dairy farmers were quick in the uptake in seeing the finacial rewards by moving their produce to the metropolis of London.

There are sadly no Welsh dairies in operation today, however many store fronts can still be seen, most notably in Warren Street, Bloomsbury, and Clerkenwell.
