Pakiolay ki Inâ, Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia

One of the old songs known by old devotees of Ina. Aside from the famous "Himno a la Virgen de Peñafrancia", this was one of the most familiar songs to Inâ. A prayer in a form of a song; "Pakiolay" means asking or reminding in a polite way. This song is used every Penitential Processions of Our Lady especially during Dawn Processions and other solemn processions.

"Pakiolay ki Ina" was composed by Rev. Fr. Sohl Saez. The tune was taken from the Traditional Marian hymn "Salve Virgen Pura". Some say that this song was made during the loss of the Image last 1981. This song was widely used during the period of her loss.
