These are three of several elevators at the Keilaniemi / Kägeludden Metro station, which is located in the Keilaniemi/Kägeludden business district in Espoo/Esbo, and is further under development by 2023-25, with more office buildings and a high-rise hotel. Matinkylä / Mattby is the current terminus of the Länsimetro / Västmetron / Western metro extension into Espoo/Esbo, Finland in the capital Region of Finland. The video of the last two elevators at Keilaniemi/Kägeludden metro station will follow on 26th May, 2020.

The first part of the extension from Ruoholahti/Gräsviken to Matinkylä/Mattby finally opened on 17th November 2017, after several delays, having been under construction since 2009. The other entrance to Matinkylä/Mattby metro station will be finished in Autumn 2020, which coincides with developments around it, among others a new hotel, the Hotel Matts.

The second part of the western metro extension from Matinkylä / Mattby to Kivenlahti / Stensvik is under construction and scheduled to be opened in 2023. After that extension, the whole Southern Espoo will be connected to local rail-based transportation. All the elevators for the new metro extension were made by KONE, and they all speak Finnish, Swedish and English.
