Right now, county and local governments are under pressure from Tallahassee to make budget cuts and be good stewards of our tax dollars, and public transportation is in the crosshairs.

Earlier this week, CBS12 News Anchor and I-Team Reporter Matt Lincoln looked at how cuts to Tri-Rail funding could impact hundreds of young students getting to school in Palm Beach County.

Here's another layer to the story, but we’ll go from trains to buses, as we have uncovered details about how a recent bus initiative burned up millions of dollars, and now state leaders have cold feet about letting the program go even one step further.
