In this video we are going to discuss a very controversial topic - What is the right age to get pregnant?
Fertility of a woman is maximum at the age of 20 and with advancing age fertility decreases. Moreover, afer the age of 35 the chances of conception remains only 2-3%
Number of follicles decreases with increasing age, and after the age of 35, the number of follicles rapidly decreases that’s why your fertility reduces. If we look at it from a fertility point of view, a girl who is 25 years old, has an 18% chance of getting pregnant within 3 months, whereas a 40 years old woman has only a 7% chance of getting pregnant due to a sudden fall of fertility.
A good time still to plan your pregnancy is in your late 20s because if you plan your family planning after the age of 35, then medically you can face complications like you will take more time to get pregnant; after getting pregnancy there is a high risk of miscarriage; there is a high risk of complications like gestational diabetes, hypertension, stillbirth, then chances of cesarean increases because at that time you also start facing some medical issues, it also impacts your pregnancy.
