This October (Sat 15 – Sun 16 2016) re-live the atmosphere and tension 950 years on, as more than 1,066 Norman and Saxon soldiers clash in this special anniversary Battle of Hastings in the grounds of Battle Abbey.

Step foot in the encampments, see the displays, meet the falconers, and the cavalry. Have a go at archery and have fun in a kids battle, meet the authors, visit the medieval traders and perhaps try a pint of mead.

Visit Battle Abbey and witness the spectacle of the Battle of Hastings on the date that changed history and immerse yourself in medieval life. An action packed and entertaining event for all the family.
