Rayman (Atari Jaguar) [Candy Chateau] {Mr. Dark's Chateau/End Credits}

Описание к видео Rayman (Atari Jaguar) [Candy Chateau] {Mr. Dark's Chateau/End Credits}

Rayman has set all Electoons free, and now it's time to face the source of all the trouble: Mr. Dark. Before Rayman battles him, Rayman must make his way through a land filled with sweets. On the third phase, Rayman has three spells cast on him by Mr. Dark.

The first spell, a little difficult to tell from the audience instead of the player, is reversing Rayman's left and right directions. The second spell causes Rayman to run nonstop. The third and final spell disables Rayman's ability to punch.

Mr. Dark controls a wall of fire that Rayman must dodge as it moves left and right. He then has to dodge twin fireballs thrown from Mr. Dark simultaneously, and Rayman eventually gets his punching move back to face Mr. Dark in mixed versions of previous bosses.

RECORDING INFO:
It might be hard to believe, but this has been captured off a North American Atari Jaguar system with an authentic copy of Rayman. The system is paired with a 3rd party SCART cable and is converted to HDMI using the Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC).

The picture is outputted to 1080p 60Hz, but my capture card can only do 720p60. Using the OSSC, I have adjusted the position and size of the picture to perfectly fit the 4:3 aspect ratio of the output. With the help of editing software, it is cropped to true 4:3 with no black areas.

The audio has a bit of a story, too. Since this is still technically an analog signal, there is a very small amount of buzzing in the audio. To reduce the buzzing, I converted the standard headphone-type aux cable to the type you plug into older TVs, like composite cables.

I plugged that into a Sharp XL-DV60 Microsystem, and that converted the signal back to the headphone format. I ran that to the Audio In of my capture card, and equalized the sound from the XL-DV60 to reduce buzzing.

EXPLANATION ON CHECKPOINTS:
You must've noticed me not taking any checkpoints. It's for when I lose a life, I can easily just snip it out via editing. If I use the checkpoint then I can't seamlessly edit the mistake out. If the life count changed by advancing a phase of the level, it is because I snipped out a mistake.
